Niche Science & Technology Ltd. is a successful and established agency that has provided services to the pharmaceutical industry and academia for over 17 years. Our continued growth means that we have an opportunity for a medical writer to join our talented and enthusiastic team working in our offices in Richmond-upon-Thames near London.

We encourage independence and welcome enthusiastic individuals with a good sense of humour who enjoy working in a challenging and dynamic environment.  The Medical Writing team prepare a wide range of documents including manuscripts, clinical study reports and documents for regulatory submissions.

  • Delivering clear, creative and informed medical/scientific copy for a variety of audiences and regulatory agencies,
  • Ensuring the accuracy of all information, data and references used,
  • Guaranteeing that your projects are delivered on time and within specification,
  • Participating in client, team and project meetings,
  • Working flexibly on a variety of projects simultaneously across a broad range of therapeutic areas,
  • Learning about new topics quickly and comprehensively, enjoying the opportunity broaden your understanding and inspiring confidence in your clients.

You will need:

  • A life sciences degree, MSc or PhD,
  • Excellent writing and communications skills,
  • Some medical writing experience,
  • A ready understanding of the analysis of clinical data,
  • An ability for clear thinking with an excellent attention to detail,
  • Good time and project management skills,
  • Good interpersonal skills and an ability to contribute as part of a team,
  • Excellent customer service skills and the confidence to interact with clients and medical experts,
  • A ‘can do’ attitude with the ability to work in a fast-moving and dynamic environment,
  • An aptitude to learn new skills.
