NEJM - Are physicians really scared of how “savvy” pharma is online?
In the November 13 edition of The New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) a Perspective piece authored by Christopher Manz, M.D., Joseph S. Ross, M.D., M.H.S., and David Grande, M.D., M.P.A. titled “Marketing to Physicians in a Digital World” makes the claim that as pharmaceutical companies have lost access through the traditional sales rep they have moved their traditional marketing to the online world – through apps, social media, banner ads, and digital point of care solutions.
